Our September reading selection will be Alexandre Dumás' novel, The Count of Monte Cristo. Please read it in time for our next book club meeting. We suggest that you write a brief response to each month's reading. Feel free to post it here!
It all started in May 2008, when a group of young women who planned to work at Eagle Fern Camp the coming summer were at a meeting together. Afterward, several of the women got to talking and began discussing some of their favorite pieces of literature. From that discussion, four of us decided to meet together monthly as a book club. When we invited other women from our camp group to join us, our ranks grew. This site is a place where we can communicate with one another about our reading plans and share our responses to books we have read. Enjoy!
